Their effectiveness varies, depending on the specific ingredients they use and the types of weeds you wish to target. Using Cultural Methods

Garden experts call non-herbicidal, physical or preventative means of eradicating weeds "cultural methods". Enriching your garden, lawn or other plants using fertilizers, compost and soil conditioners is perhaps the simplest cultural method of weed prevention. It involves improving the health of your plants in order to make them strong enough to fight off weeds without any further interventions.
