Know the Different Types of Squirrel Feeders

Squirrel feeders are available in as many different varieties as bird feeders , if not more. On a basic level, you should start by deciding whether you want your squirrel feeder to only house food, or if you want it to offer some shelter as well.

If you want to provide some shelter, you might want to buy or build a combination squirrel house and feeder. Conversely, if you live in a temperate climate, you might prefer to simply offer the squirrels that visit your yard a snack and let them look after their own shelter.
